Woodie's DIY and Garden Centres is a 100% Irish owned DIY and a subsidiary of Grafton Group plc. We have twenty-five branches nation-wide offering an extensive range of Paints, Lights, Homestyle, Bathroom Accessories, Housewares to Building and Gardening products. We supply almost everything for all your home improvement and gardening needs. Our online store has over 7,000 products to choose from.

Woodie's DIY Ltd. first retail operation was opened in June 1987 at Walkinstown. This store proved successful and led to the opening of a second store at Glasnevin in April 1988. The continued successes of the retail operation led to two new store openings in 1990; one in Sallynoggin and the other in Cork. Cork was the first of the Super Stores with the product range being significantly extended.

Woodie's DIY Ltd. continued to build on its strong market position. The company's development programme led to the opening of new Super Stores along with major improvements to existing stores and the opening of our first Garden Centre in Cork staffed by qualified horticulturists. Such was the success of the Garden Centre that all stores now feature award winning garden centres. In August 2006 we opened our 25th store in the Springfort Retail Park, Stereame Centre, Limerick Rd., Nenagh, Co. Tipperary.

We are committed to expanding our business, identifying and meeting the needs of our extensive customer base. Even though Woodie's DIY Ltd. are the biggest chain of DIY retail Super Stores in Ireland we have ambitious plans for the future.
