I am looking at farming opportunities in Ireland.
I am a 25yr old white male with 9yrs mixed farming experience married to a 25yr old white female who has an office management diploma and tourism management diploma. We are willing to relocate permanently at our own cost. My wifes' brother is currently residing in Arklow, Ireland for the past 7 years.
Currently I am a game farm manager and my wife is a junior insurance consultant.

Current Job: General Farm manager on a game farm that is concentrating
on venison export.

Limited experience:

Dairy: Held a temporary position on a dairy farm for three months.

Feedlot: Managed a beef and lamb feedlot for one year.

Roller mill: Assistant manager at a maize mill.

Sugarcane: Managed 340ha of sugarcane under irrigation. (ha – hectares)

Macadamias: Managed 20ha of macadamias under drip irrigation.

Truck driving: Experience in driving Volvo and Renault super links.

Crops: Experience in potatoes, lucern, oats, maize and vegetables.

Extensive experience:

Cattle: Managed 1000 head of cattle for weaner production.

Game: Managed various species of game and grazing management for
export purposes of venison.

Forestry: All aspects of management of black wattle and pine plantations
for commercial purposes.(300ha)

Tourism: General Manager of a 4 star lodge that could accommodate 70
guests and specialized in corporate teambuilding.

Other experience:

Training: Underwent training for CPO(close protection operative) that was
focused on farm security and protection.

Computer skills: Computer skills are excellent.

Reason for application:

The farming circumstances and opportunities in South Africa for farming have deteriorated in the last couple of years and general safety is very poor. Political instability is common and circumstances for raising a family are very unfavorable. Therefore I am seeking a farming opportunity in Ireland.
