Multinational fresh food grower and distributor has a vacancy for an experienced Accommodation Manager for a permanent role based in North Dublin.


ROLE:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient and economic operation of the accommodation blocks and offsite accommodation. This is a live in position – the Accommodation Manager is required to live on site.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out routine inspections to ensure that all aspects of the accommodation blocks meet and maintain hygiene, health and safety requirements
• Budgeting and controlling finances
• Ensuring maintenance and repairs are carried out
• Supervising the work of cleaning and maintenance staff
• Planning the availability of rooms
• Meet regularly with inhabitants to discuss issues and concerns
• Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of the blocks
• Ensuring accommodation rules & regulations are adhered to
• Carry out regular inspections of offsite accommodation

• Qualification in hospitality/institutional management essential
• Minimum 1 year experience in accommodation management of hostel or student accommodation
• Bi-lingual would be an advantage (specifically Polish)
